March – November｜9:00 – 17:00

*On Fridays and Saturdays, the Studio and Library are open until 21:00.

December – February (Winter)｜9:30 – 17:00

*On Fridays and Saturdays, the Studio and Library are open until 20:00.

Closed

Tuesdays, Year-end and New Year holidays.

(If a national holiday falls on a Tuesday, the museum will be closed on the following weekday.)
*The museum is open daily during the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival and the Hirosaki Neputa Festival.
*Exception: The museum will be open on the following Tuesdays: April 14, 21, 28, May 5, August 4, 11, September 22, November 3, 2026 and February 23, 2027
*Post-holiday and Temporary Closures: May 7, 18 – 22, June 1 – 4, August 12, September 24, November 4, 16 – 24, November 30 – December 3, 2026 and February 24, 2027
*Closed for New Year’s Holidays: December 26, 2026 – January 1, 2027

The exhibition galleries are temporarily closed as follows.
